Jason Weber
Jason is a nationally recognized leader in law enforcement, crime prevention, and public safety education with more than three decades of service in municipal policing, higher education, and training. He currently serves as Crime Prevention Programs Manager for the Arizona State University Police Department, directing safety initiatives across multiple campuses nationwide and abroad. In this role, he develops evidence-based programs on a variety of safety and security topics, while also assisting media relations and outreach efforts. His municipal policing career spanned 28 years with the Menasha and Fox Crossing (WI) Police Departments, where he served as a detective, community liaison officer, and media spokesperson, pioneering community engagement strategies and advancing data-driven policing models.
Jason also served as the Public Safety Training Director and Instructor at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, where he oversaw one of Wisconsin’s leading specialized public safety training program.. He also taught and developed courses in crime prevention and community policing. A consultant, national instructor, and published author, he has conducted over 300 security assessments nationwide, created the award-winning Good Drugs Gone Bad initiative, and written over 10 books including the crime prevention textbook From Theory to Action: Crime Prevention in Modern Society. Recognized with honors including the Sir Robert Peel Award and Practitioner of the Year, Jason continues to advance crime prevention and public safety through leadership, education, and innovation.
