This one-day course addresses participants’ ability to navigate funding agency objectives to align with the program goals, keeping a focus on grant management and project implementation. The primary goal of this course is to expand on the participants’ skills and experiences and enhance the approach to implementing grant-funded projects successfully. The course will cover the importance of planning for implementation when the grant is written, which will avoid unnecessary delays once funding is received. Participants will be able to:

  1. Create a collaborative grant management team
  2. Use provided templates and resources for grant management
  3. Organize documents for efficient grant management
  4. Monitor budgets and create budget modifications
