Wednesday, November 4, 2026: Transition to Supervision
This course supports those new to supervision and those planning to move into supervisory positions. The goal is to provide information and resources to define and apply leadership skills to supervise others. The course explores ways to define interpersonal relationships, develop and maintain positive self-confidence, and incorporate leadership and positive supervisory techniques into their positions. After training, participants will be able to: classify the characteristics of a good supervisor; distinguish between personal and professional relationships; describe ways to develop and maintain positive self-confidence; integrate elements of leadership into personal approaches to supervising others; identify and apply problem-solving strategies through scenarios and case studies; and develop a self-improvement plan.

"Principles of Being an Effective Leader" is offered November 5, 2026. The course provides information and resources to define and apply effective leadership styles to supervise others. The course will cover practical skills for conducting performance evaluations and establishing expectations for personnel.

Both Classes (T2S and PBEL)
"Transition to Supervision" (T2S) is offered on November 4, 2026. "Principles of Being an Effective Leader" (PBEL) is offered November 5, 2026. Participants who enroll in both courses will receive a $50 discount, reducing their total registration cost to $550.
